Yeah, I can sure feel it when I’m not moving my body as well. So go back to the gym and do some mild stretching and swimming, your back will probably thank you for it as well.

Thank you, it got better today. Cousin’s hubby sent her home tonight so she could sleep in her own bed instead of the little pull out one they put in his room for her.
Now that the infection is responding to medication, he’s feeling well enough to be cantankerous again. They tried to give him de-caf coffee this morning which did not go over well at all.

I’ve been hearing things from friends who work for the state and they are also scared and angry.
It is so sad that so many more people voted for this than against it. The low income apartments in town have big Trump/Vance signs all over. They are also learning that HUD funding has been cut and they will have a big rent increase next month. I understand they are blaming Biden.

Moving would suck, but sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do. We have a couple of oil-filled radiator space heaters that I am not concerned about leaving on overnight or unattended. They don’t get hot enough to burn skin or fur, but are very efficient heat sources.

Remembers being a loose dame with a .42. I’d dab a little Hoppes oil behind my ears, worked much better than expensive perfume to attract the sort of men I wanted.

Thank you so much for passing on the word. I’ve been thinking about her and hoping that she isn’t in jail. Do let her know that if she does have to kill SIL, I’ve got money to chip in for bail.
Hubs has a spread sheet with all of his user names and passwords on a flash drive which he carries on his keyring. All of his passwords are variations of the same theme, so I’m thinking that his passwords are only slightly less safe than my single password.

And this is why I am constantly making cookies for Harry. Good neighbors who do stuff like that without asking for anything in return are so special.
So I woke up listening to rain and will probably go to bed listening to it. There’s been an inch and a half so far. I spent most of the day staring out the window and watching the magic sky water fall while the fog rolled in from the overfull river.
All of the public camping and picnicking areas by the river have been closed which has displaced a number of folks who live in their RV’s full time ☹
The river is 11 trees deep now and still rising.
We slept great last night. Despite our thermal mattress pad, the bed was still cold so I added some flannels and cats to my ensemble. GG was so happy that he had his bed back that he plunked himself down behind my hip and refused to move for the night. Hubs had to drag him out of bed this morning, we were up pretty late last night and he was tired!

The Spousal Unit made dinner tonight. She put some Trader Joe’s kebabs in the toaster oven, and got out the Kalamata olives and the tzatziki. I got out the feta. She made herself two ‘wraps’ (actually just folded over like a taco) with low-carb spinach-herb tortillas, a kebab each, feta, and tzatziki. I had the same, only on a plate without tortillas. She could only eat one, so I had her leftover ‘wrap’ on top of my plate. So yeah, I’m stuffed. She had another one of her truffles for dessert.

Actually, turns out the last one wasn’t stolen - I goofed up wrt my Prime account - forgot that they wouldn’t charge me till the end of my 30-day free trial, at which point I’d forgotten. But the new card is working and I’ll spend part of tomorrow updating all my bills.
Rain continues, probably into tomorrow afternoon. We’re also expecting some gusty winds tomorrow. Then some snow again on Weds and Thurs. Rah.
Supper was soup and some really good Italian bread that I got at the Mart of Wal - OMG, was it good! Sometimes I think I could live on just bread.
Anyway, the day is winding down and I’ll mosey back to bed soon. Definitely in slug mode tonight.

So DONE with this day. I was over it already (closing 3 nights in a row kinda takes it out of ya) plus our lovely dishwasher lady is still out sick with pneumonia, so guess who wound up on dish pit & came home ~~slightly~~ more than a bit damp?
I @#$% hate washing dishes - I’ll do anything to avoid having to hand wash mine!
Worst, though, was right as I was leaving, fussing with my locker stuff, when the door next to me _SLAMMED_ open, b.c. someone on the crew was having a hissy fit & kicked the door open like he was in a fucking kung fu movie.
Damn near put me in the friggin’ horsepital, if I hadn’t jumped out of the way.
There was some yelping & cursing. Not gonna lie, I had words.
I’m paycheck-to-paycheck, and so is he - nobody can afford the Rx bills if he broke my damn nose, let alone the time off work.
Home now, with a lot of adrenaline and pissy-tude in my system.
Adrenaline come-down always makes me bitchy.
On the plus side, I am definitely clean & sanitized up to the elbows.

I really wanna save up enough for this exercise wheel for _the cat that’s currently yowling while yeeting things off the table out of boredom_ but I think I may need to spend a coupla pennies for some chicken thighs to roast, with N.O.T. cuz she going through enough.
I need the kitchen to smell nice, with something tempting to eat. Maybe a coupla rolls to soak up the chicken juices.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. _YAWN_ ‘Tis 68 Amurrkin out with rain. This is also the high for the day. We are also in a tornado watch. A severe thunderstorm warnin’ lapsed a couple of minutes ago. The good news is the rain will go away this mornin’. OYKW told me he is stayin’ in da cave. I would consider that as well, but I have Chalice duty so deheathenate I shall. Any need to feed today will be via forage as we have leftover pizza, sammich makin’s and so forth.
**Coppertone** it’s really a simple recipe. Order pizza from your favorite place, then go to the sto’ and buy a bag of sallit, a cake, and beerverages. I add stuff to the bag o’ sallit, which then makes it a homemade meal. Hey, if you do stuff to sump’n, then it becomes homemade.
**shoe** co-irker sounds like he could use a Mumper beat down. Some of us are older and don’t consider life in prison to necessarily be a deterrent. Canes and walkers can put a hurtin’ on a body.

Morning, mumpers! It’s currently 2c/36f with a predicted high of 3c/38f, and cloudy. Weather app is feeling somewhat poetic and says “This fucking weather can suck my dingle dangle wing wang.” So there you have it!

There’s nothing quite like a feline hot water bottle!
We have a massive sad. I woke up this morning to hear Shadow howling and hissing, rushed down to see what was going on and it was clear he needed a vet straight away. I got him to the emergency vet in town, fortunately it’s only 10 minutes from home. The vet said it looked like he’d had some kind of massive neurological event, he was clearly in pain and a lot of distress. There really wasn’t anything they could do for him, so I had to leave him there, go home and get 'im indoors out of bed, then we rushed back to the vet to say goodbye to our beautiful brave boy. 💔

Up, caffienated, and sheveled. Off today. I shall do the usual morning cleaning and afternoon sloth. It’s 60 degree Ferret Height(15.5 Centipedes), and cloudy. The forecast is for rain and High Wind warning this afternoon, so Spot and I may have to pull out the ruby slippers(that should be a drag queen name).

**{{{boofae}}}** - those of us who have been there know exactly what you’re going thru. Wish I could do more than send a virtual hug. But you did good by him and your memories will be sweet.
Hereabouts, rain continues on and off, and there’s fog. Definitely an indoor day, which is why I sent **FCD** out to fetch us a McBreakfast! 😉 For me, a big chunk of today will be spent getting our new card number on all our bill accounts. Beyond that, dunno. I posted a pic on FB of the last of the snow in our yard… till Weds and Thurs, when the next round is due. The Accuweather forecast for Weds says 1-3", but Thurs says:

The weather channel calls for 4-8". So before then, I need to get to the credit union so I have cash to pay the plow guy. Unless both forecasts are wrong. Stoopit snow. Except the weather channel is still calling it “a potential winter storm,” so maybe there’s a chance…
Anyway, up, showered, dressed, and waiting for my McCaffeination to arrive.
