I love this. Too many ppl use hay bales as throwaway decorations. They are useful!

My childhood dog was like this. A mini poodle, smarter than many people, but the whole fetch-retrieve thing just wouldn’t happen.
“Yay, a toy! Thx for throwing it! I will run off with it now.”

I cleaned, did two loads of laundry, and cleaned the Dolphin shrine on the mantle. I changed the litterbox, and spot and I took a nap. Now it’s Wisconsin Old Fashioned and poke loin time. I had a few power flickers, but didn’t lose power due to the wind. I also had to clean the dryer vent, the was a _Night Of the Lepus_(staring Deforest “Dammit Jim, I’m a doctor not Elmer Fudd!” Kelley) dust bunny in the duct. Which considering my dryer duct has 3 90 degree turn, 6 feet of vertical tube and 50 feet of horizontal run, I’m surprised I don’t have more.

I’ve just ordered [‘Charters of Freedom’](https://www.nationalarchivesstore.org/collections/documents/products/book-bundle-charters-of-fre-ep-112982) from the National Archives: The Declaration of Independence, The Constitution of the United States of America, The Bill of Rights, and The Emancipation Proclamation. Since Trump has taken control of the National Archives, I thought I should add them to my library before they become unavailable.

Straw, not hay, is what is used for decorating type purposes. Hay is what horses eat and is green. Straw is the stem of oats or wheat, usually oats, and is yellow and crunchy. Ariel eats hay. Her stall is bedded in straw.

That is the coldest temp I ever experienced. Ft. Devens Massachusetts, January 1976. We had a 6:00AM class and had to march a mile to get there. When we arrived there was not heat as the pipes had burst. A bus was sent to pick us up and I missed frostbite by juuuuuuuust this much. My husband(ex) helped warm my feet with heated towels and when I could feel them again used shared bodily warmth. I must say it was heroic.
