# (Old) Canada's Thanksgiving begins the holiday season in the MMP!

If she’s still awake and if her health allows, a hefty dose of ibuprofen or naproxen (Motrin or Aleve) taken before a night’s sleep works against the pain and inflammation so morning will be less stiff and ouchy.

I fell 10 days ago and the ER suggested I take 800-1000 mg of ibuprofen before sleeping and every 6-8 hours the next day.
