Ok, so I’ve been trying to remember a particular old(ish) children’s cartoon segment/short. I remember it being part of a larger children’s show such as Sesame Street, or Pinwheel etc. As for what I recall the characters were two different colors (I want to say red and blue). At least one of the characters had a “beret” or at least the top of the head bore the “shape” of a beret. I say “shape” because both were “shmoo-like” in that they were either blobs, or something similar. I seem to remember them playing a horn-type instrument or maybe a flute-type, but not 100% certain. The mouth section of these characters would “morph” or shape-change into the instrument, and they would start dueling/playing music, and maybe snapping their fingers while playing. What I can say with certainty is that it’s definitely _not_ Red vs. Blue (cartoon), nor is it Chapi Chapo. Any chance someone else knows, or at least _remembers_? ---

No,that isn’t it, but you definitely got the idea. I should have mentioned that these characters were rendered in a completely black background. Nothing else. ---

The little guy was speaking in very strongly accented Milanese dialect. No actual swearwords, or at least not a lot that I remember, but there were lots of euphemisms - Milanese equivalents of “What the dickens” and the like. ---
