Evening all. Soccer has been coached (sort of; 5-6 year olds are really not my specialty, keeping their attention for more than 3-4 seconds is hard. I have one boy who goes into meltdown about 8-10 times a practice/game whenever something doesn’t quite go his way and others who 5-6 calling of their names does not seem to register. Never again any team younger than 9 years old… **JtC** , good luck in stirring interest in a stitching group, it will get you more into the community there (since you apparently don’t have a Tai Chi class). And that’s about all the ambition I have tonight. Off to read some and turn in early tonight. Take care all. ---

Morning, mumpers! It’s currently 7c/45f with a predicted high of 10c/50f and cloudy. Weather app says “I wonder who stole your fucking sunshine. Good and reliable catsitters are a blessing. We used to put our mogs in a local cattery but it was hard finding one that they were ok with. As Shadow and Ophelia aged, we decided it was better to keep them at home in comfortable and familiar surroundings as much as possible. I found a company called Kitty Angels who come to the house as often as I need, feed and medicate the cats, do the feeding and play with them too. We’ve had the same Kitty Angel for a few years now, she really bonded with the cats so they seem quite disappointed when we come back home and they don’t see Jenni at the door. Irked yesterday, still don’t have answers to all the questions about the job that the ADHD Squirrel tells me needs to be done by tomorrow. I logged out and went to make campus breakfasts and dig around in the freezer for a lone portion of something to bring for lunch today. I had a bit of sofa time with the girlies, had a glass of wine and made dinner. Muffin seemed a little better yesterday after I gave her a small dose of Gabapentin. I got some more normal miaow sounds out of her in between the growling and hissing. All was fine until mid-evening when I popped my head in to check on her. She’d had a poo on the puppy pad, and she’d been sick. Unfortunately, both bits that needed cleaning up were very close to her, and she was not happy about me being that close either. She had a good wail about it, and scratched my thumb quite badly. Her reward? Treats and ham, of course. She did permit a small amount of fuss later though, so perhaps things aren’t so bad. The cats are having an alone day today since I’m on campus so I’ve shut the door to Muffin’s room to give her some peace. The girlies have the rest of the house to run around in, that should be more than enough room for them. For me, it’s time for some irkage. ---

I read along yesterday but never got the chance to reply. This was in part due to the certain canine who commands all the space on my lap and in front of my keyboard. We had a busy day including another salesperson coming to talk to use about bathrooms. But… This guy was AWESOME! He is a musician and actually could have an intelligent conversation about all of MusicMan’s stuff in his music room. He was just a super nice person all around. His estimate was around $16,000 which was obviously better but still not something that we’re going to jump into. The worst part about him being here is that MusicMan was about an hour and a half late in getting to bed. Just to keep things interesting, today I have a job interview. To be honest, though, after talking it over with my therapist I’m not sure that I want the job. But, I’m going to go for the practice and to see what the vibe is like there. It’s another car dealership. And, hopefully I’ll figure out how to post [this video](https://www.facebook.com/watch/?mibextid=rS40aB7S9Ucbxw6v&v=1115182777043594) for **JtC** and her kitties. ---

Mornin’. It’s now the crack of 9 as I get around to greeting y’all. Last night’s taco festivities got late, then a couple of the guys wanted to go out. So it got real late. A good time was had and I recall no interactions with the police. But that did mean I slept through sunrise. Oh well; sacrifices must be made. Clear, sunny, and ~77/25 on the way to 84/29. Calm. A perfect beach day once I get my ass out of my chair. Good luck to **FCM** surviving another couple days on the road w rugrats. Hope **Shoe** ’s quiche got made and is yummy. “Stitch n bitch” seems to be a pretty common name for those kinds of gatherings. ---

About the only thing needed to do today is to get the garbage and the recyclable bins to the curb sometime this evening and do my 3pm weightlifting. Well, this is…unexpected. My right eye suddenly got foggy. I thought maybe something got in it, like the “sleep” that sometimes accumulates in the nasal corner of the eye, but rinsing and gentle rubbing do nothing. The last time this happened–and it was years ago–I was going through a massive rejection of the corneal graft, but I wasn’t on prednisone drops like I am now. Dammit. Cross your fingers, please. ---

Thanks, **Boo** and **pilot**. The appointment desk said the soonest they could get me in is Friday afternoon. I explained that this is more urgent than that. (IME, The longer the rejection goes on, the harder it is to reverse.) They transferred me to the triage line, where I left a message. They supposedly get back to you by the end of the day. I know I can increase the prednisolone to every 2 hours but am not sure if that’s often enough. Prednisone increases eye pressure, which is not good for the glaucoma, but I don’t know if I can or should increase THOSE eyedrops. If it’s caused by iritis, as it usually is, they’ll probably put me on dilating eyedrops to “freeze” the pupil so it doesn’t irritate the iris, but I don’t have any of those. Sorry about the dull details. I’m obviously fretting aloud. Will shut up now until I get the scoop. ---

Reasonable heaving today. They put Nails loading Bottom Red, so I had to do one of her cars, in addition to my work.
