I’m stinky. We’re re-making the waterfall feature in the science park, which means the old one has to come out, so this morning was pulling up the old water barrier from the floor of the falls. Decade old water gets kinda gnarly. The rest of the day was fun, though. I’m working on an exhibit about vaccines and pathogens. A ping pong ball cannon shoots at the visitor until they build a “vaccine” to place in the spot where pathogens come in. Basically, I shot various ping pong ball sized things around the shop for a couple of hours. Safe travels wished upon you, **metalmouse!** ---

Also, it would be a 30+ mile detour. I get up at 04:00 on my commuting day, and I don’t get home until 18:00 (if I’m lucky) or 18:30. Makes for a long day. So I’ll just have to save the time and the money and get the wild-caught at the supermarket until TJ’s starts carrying it again. ---

Is 6:35 too early to go to bed? I feel like today has been mostly unproductive. Unfortunately the resin that I used appears to be too old. All the keychains that I made are still sticky after many attempts to cure them. And I also didn’t think that I’d get my metal bending tool to clamp to the table. Fortunately I figured out a different way to get it done. So tomorrow will be a day making some spoon rings and maybe some keychains. I also have to take Annie to the vet. I have a feeling that she has cushing’s disease. We had a dog previously that had it. Maybe I’m wrong but we shall see. **MetalMouse** , I’m glad that your flights went well! ---

I used to have no interest in sharp dressed men. I’ve been a hippie since grade school. I felt they were " plastic", suits. I have since realized dressing well is a form of respect; not appearing as a bum. It was 75 today here in NE Ohio. This weekend it gets hot. My interview was fast, but I think it went well. She is supposed to call me tonight. I have a different interview tomorrow; also a food place. Tonight, KillTony! ---

Some serious weather headed our way. Lighting, rain, hail, possible tornado over the next couple of hours. Yikes. On top of which, we have water seeping into our hall closet from up above. Staff gave us some soaker pads to help sop it up while the maintenance guy investigates the source. ---

Happy work anniversary **doggio**! The state always celebrated our five/ten/twenty year work anniversaries by sending a a small enamel pin (to be worn on our ID, which was worn on a lanyard) through the interoffice mail. I hope all of your stuff is safely ensconced in plastic bins. My weather app just says “Rainy days ahead”. There has been more flooding up north and the death tole is now five adults and one three year old child. I’m glad the assassin was caught, outraged at the minor crimes he’s been charged with. I’ve always loved a sharp dressed man. I even know how to tie a bow tie as well as a Windsor knot. Tuxes are hawt. We go to the USMC ball almost every year and it is a real struggle to not drool on my velvet dress while looking at all the Marines in their dress blues. Men in leather are also hot. There have been days when Hubs got geared up for a ride and I demanded that he come back inside and let me take his clothes back off just because I love a man in tight jeans and chaps. TMI? Currently I’m watching the cardinal birds feasting on sunflower seeds and thinking about @Seanette. It’s been a while and whenever I see the doves pecking around at the seeds I always think about her. ---

They sent someone up with absorbing pads that are, I think, intended for incontinent people and dogs, to help soak up any further problems during the night.
