I arrived to the office this morning, and opened up sad news in my email. Our accountant died of a heart attack yesterday morning. He was in the hospital for low blood pressure since last Tuesday. He helped Wifey, RN set up her LLC for her foot care practice, and he would bring in home-grown eggs for us. He was a nice guy, and had a good sense of humour. Everyone is shocked. He was about 60 or 62 years old. ---

So in the rush to get the bags unloaded, they overloaded the belt. Which meant pulling off bags, then putting them back on. Just to A. Have nothing on the belt from 0500 to 0630. and B. Didn’t finish up till 0800 anyways. “haste makes ~~waste~~ **dogbutler’s** gin money”. Spot is watching the vermin frolic in the leaves outside. ---

Gyno receptionist called saying I need another colposcopy. I had one last May, without numbing. Next one this May. She said, " get ride of it!" Not a bad idea really. Nothing going on today. Work tomorrow. My onboarding for my new job is complete. Trying to shake this cold, going to pick up a free test at the library to make sure its just a cold. Why does your body start falling apart when you get old? ---

I need to think of something she can make… And speaking of Roxy, she’s got her first loose tooth! They grow up so fast!!! 🥹 ---

It wouldn’t be mud season without me getting stuck and falling. Went down in my hands and knees while getting Ariel. My gloves are mud soaked. My coat and my pants are covered. Even my sunglasses are coated. And I smell…. ---

We’re back from Colorado…as of Friday. We had a couple of days to recover, which was nice, but now it’s back to the grind. I left my keys at my mom’s condo today - with the exception of one - after the movers took all mom’s furniture to auction. The signatures won’t be on the paper until Thursday. But while I was there, the buyer and her army of contractors came in to measure. I was kind of ticked. The one guy stood next to me in the kitchen and said very loudly, “Oh, my God, this sink is BUTT UGLY.” Of course, I was on a call for work (I was just sittng around watching people move furniture otherwise). He later came back in and made a big deal (while I was still on a call) to tell me how sorry he was for my loss, how I shouldn’t take anything they have to say about the design of the place personally, etc., etc. I’m not sorry to say that after they left, I microwaved some fish, ate it, made sure the furniture movers were gone and left. It wasn’t much in terms of revenge, but it felt good. ---

**FCM** my BIL’s diet is terrible. One morning while I was there he ate Doritos at 8:30, mini Snickers around 9, followed by Cheetos at 10:30. At some point he had a PBJ and a turkey sandwich. He claims he doesn’t like to eat after 3 PM so my sister’s attitude is if he doesn’t eat then I’m not going to cook for myself. I know his poor diet is contributing to his condition. Plus, they don’t adhere to the strict medication schedule. My niece and I have talked to them about this, but as I always say nobody listens to me. ---

Howdy Y’all! We got very productive today. Way more so than is our usual wont. We no longer have the worst yahd in da ‘hood and laundry got done and put away to where it stays until all dirty again. The yahds got finished this mornin’, so we decided we needed not too shabby Chinese hog trough buffet for N.O.L. Thus my world famous Eyetalian chikin will be sup tomorrow. Now ‘tis rainin’ and smells so good with the rain fallin’ on freshly mown grass. I am havin’ a bourbon and ginger ale as I post. YUMMY! **MOOOOOOM** that bridge collapse is a horrible tragedy. I gather no one you know was involved and stuck because of it. Also, go RoxStar the buddin’ engineer! **Sticky\_Buns** hope all worked out OK re the appointment. **FlyBoy** so sorry about your co-irker. **WetOne** ick! Hope you are all cleanded up by now. Afternoon all. Got to the gym fairly early and did my pedaling to nowhere along with some sauna time, then shower/shave and home. Soccer has been cancelled due to the rain we’ve had, although it is blue skies and N.O.S. out. Didn’t clean the kitchen yet so might do that before dinner time, have had a mid-day snack which should hold me to about 7pm or so. **Flyboy** , first your uncle and now the accountant…y’all be careful now, y’hear… **Coppertone** , had to look up colposcopy (thought maybe you had mis-spelled colonoscopy, but nope it’s a thing). Hope it works out for you. And yeah, our bodies seem to have a label saying “use before 65”. Still going pretty good with my 71st birthday in sight. **FCM** , glad Roxy is having fun and is having her curiosity satisfied in such a constructive way. And the Tooth Fairy awaits her!!! **wet one** , I predict a long hot shower is in your future… **talkie** , welcome home. And revenge is a dish best served fishy… OK, that kitchen floor won’t mop itself. Onward!! ---

heh one winter in indiana an uncle took a job that gave use of a small apartment well the job didn’t work at all from the 2nd hour he was working and well in the middle of the 2nd week he quit and they fired and he had until 5.pm ot move out Now the apartment had one of those metal radiator heaters … well he acquired a bit of limburger cheese and somehow shoved it in the heater and left … well few days later next person came in and turned on the heater which already smelled …it took a day or so for them to figure it out apparently ---

Read all, too tired to reply but do know that I followed every word with interest and care. His family aren’t happy unless they are feeding you so I’ve started to aggressively carry my big stainless steel travel cup of icewaterwithlemon everywhere with me. They seem to think that asking for water is some sort of insult because no matter how often I reassure them that Yes, I really do want water! I get pop or coke instead. I totally love the place I showed you guys, but it should have been advertised as a fixer. It is going to take about 20 grand to prep for move-in with another probably 20 g in after move expenses. We put in a very low bid and fully expect them to get insulted and walk away. I will be thrilled if they don’t but not thrilled enough to basically give them 40 g above their asking price. Our B choice is also very nice and appears to be turn-key ready. There isn’t a river, but there is a duck pond at the base of the property. I’m exhausted and am planning on spending the rest of the evening stitching while taking short breaks to go outside and smoke some of the weed I bought in Virginia. That was a much different experience, no armed guard, they weren’t really interested in seeing my ID, I paid with plastic - yes I had cash, but due to RICO laws, most dispensaries aren’t willing to risk getting their bank accounts seized so won’t take plastic and they handed me my bag of weed to carry out in my hand instead of being hidden in an opaque bag. Andv now I’m starting to zone, time to stop thinking for the night. Hugs to all! ---

Poor MusicMan ended up going to work an hour early and just sitting there. So I made it to my appointment with plenty of time. The doctor wants me to go back to physical therapy again. I’m hopeful that it will help. I like the place where it’s at, they’re always very friendly and never judgemental. \<— My iPad just separated that into two words. In other news, I have officially resigned from my job (that I haven’t been doing anyways!). I have been on leave since September and decided that it wasn’t going to work for me to go back. They are not willing to provide accommodations for me and I am not willing to go back with things the way that they were. So for now I am doing task work online and waiting to hear if they will approve me for disability. Even though I knew that this was coming and would turn out this way, it was still a bit scary and turned this into an emotional day. Right now I am very tired and wish I could go to bed. So, I think that Annie and I are just going to chill for the evening. Or maybe I’ll play with some of the new clay that I bought tonight. ---

After two days of wrangling jr high school actor types through their tech rehearsal, I’m exhausted. No! Don’t run back stage, don’t use your phone, keep the wings clear so people coming offstage have somewhere to go… Getting through to the kids is difficult. **metal mouse** I am continuously amazed at your soccer feats! After these days, I’m in the shop at 8:30, at the school by 2:30, home by 8, I just donwanna cook. Fortunately only two more days of this nonsense. **JtC** I hope you find a place that fits all your desires. Well now that I type that out it sounds like I’m wishing you a cabana boy. 😁 ---
