Evening all. Burned a satisfactory amount of calories so that dinner did not have to suffer much and am now in for the rest of the day. And that bright sunshine from a couple hours earlier is hidden behind clouds that threaten rain any minute now, so I guess the Weather Wizards know what they were talking about. Still about 85F outside so it’ll be a warm rain, but still not planning on going out in it. And catching up from the days postings… **Cat Glove** , glad you could drive out of the rain, I did so on the way to my Motel in Sandusky, Ohio last month and got checked in and in the room before it caught up. And I am sure BF is a dear, but oh my, I’d think twice before traveling with her again… **Oopsie** , that’s quite a Lego garden you have. And I also need to discipline my reading, the pile of NY TImes that I haven’t gotten through is reach alarming heights… **Mollie** , I drink milk about 3 times a week (Cereal and Instant Breakfast) and only skim milk, so glad you have lactose-free milk available. As for the musical reaction(s), your mind is still adapting to the changes, give it time and patience. **Lily** , I never wore braces either, have a slight overbite, the dentist got me some of those ‘mouth-guard-like’ things to wear at night but it disappeared years ago and I’ve never gotten it replaced. **Taters** , a little trip is not a bad thing, hope you can find someplace to enjoy. **Cookie** , Lovely orchid, but I’m concerned about your wife’s hermit-like habits, as it seems from your description that she had been outgoing before. I wish her (and you) well. **Nettie** , Happy Doperversary! And I can hear thunder rumbling outside, so probably be raining here in a bit. Howdy Y’a’ll! We deheathenated (OYKW once; me twice) and then it was back to da cave for sammiches and nappage. I went back to the church house at three p.m. for another good group meetin’ and discussion. I had another sammich when I got back in da cave and then we watched stoopid teevee for a while. I see the endocrinologist in two weeks. I have counseling in a week and a half. I am now at the point where I’m asking myself do I give science the one fingered salute and start GAHT two weeks early, and let the pharmaceutical company list decreased androgens and increased estrogens as a possible side effect? That would be fucking hilarious. ---

**Background** : we ask for the last 4 on your phone number (when we have two “Jones” a “Johnson” and a “Jameston” it helps keep things straight. Especially when your drunk ass pulls up and mumbles something incoherent that _might_ start with the letter J) and I’m used to people saying, or mumbling to themselves, their entire number, or asking someone, or whatever. “I just got a new phone, I don’t remember!!1!” Jeeebus, just say 1234, I just need something to distinguish your ticket from the eighteen other JT/JB/JC/JZ/holy gawds just say your damn name instead of your street nickname, I ain’t the damn po-po. You know what the answer to “last four digits on your phone number, please?” is NOT? “Yup.” { _cautious blank stare_ } "Let’s try this again … " * * * There were lovely tunderboomers in the early afternoon & I saw lotsa lightning on the way home.
