I also collect bumps, lumps and bruises from 3 and 7 year old grandchildren and lots of bloody scratches in conspicuous places from a rambunctious cat who likes to launch off me when I least expect it. There’s a reason she is banished from the bedroom. I have my annual wellness visit with my Dr. Wednesday and just now noticed a deep bruise the size of a slice of bread above my right knee~that will be fun to explain convincingly. Especially since I have no idea when or how it happened. I was supposed to go to the audiologist today for a hearing test and to order replacement hearing aids. They cancelled the appt last night, the audiologist is sick. I need to call and reschedule. I hate adulting but I really want to be able to always hear my grandchildren’s soft little voices. Wednesday my family doc and a few days later an eye surgeon about cataract surgery. Fun week.
