# (OLD) Hey! It's The May-Day MMP!

I actually liked the Last Herald Mage series a little more, for all that I identified more with Talia. My Dad was the SFBC person, though he was much more a hard sci-fi reader which meant the fantasy books were all mine. I felt very much the same about _So You Want to Be a Wizard_. One of my other favorites though was _DarkMage_ by Barbara Hambly. It’s a bit dated now, but still a wonderful story.
