According to “The Cow That Went OINK” by Bernard Most, goats go “nanny-ha” when they laugh. Cows go “Moo-ha”, Turkeys go “gobble-ha” and goats go “nanny-ha”. Therefore a non-laughing goat would say “nanny” It’s kind of a fun book to read, especially if you like making funny animal noises. ---
