I don’t know about native, but they grow well in most parts of Tennessee. When I lived in Smyrna, there were several in our complex. I’ve seen them in the mountains and almost to the Mississippi.

I woke up for a bio break around 0300 and knocked the travel mug of water off. No big whuh, other than I’d left the sipper open. I grabbed a mop to mop it up and knocked my tablet off the night stand. When I picked it up and put it back, the mop handle knocked the mug off again, this time popping the lid off. I made the executive decision to not get out the mop bucket to squeeze the water into and got a towel from the hamper. They’re being washed today anyway. Through all of this, Nelson was busy lapping water up off the floor (his water dish was fifteen feet away, but licking it up off the floor was somehow better.
