If that weren’t galling enough, some places call that sandwich a _hero_.

A sandwich! A hero? Da noive!

Thanks to the OP for hypersensitizing my blasphemometer, I’m looking forward to what surely will be an extremely offensive weekend, consoled only by the prospect that a trip to Old Navy will score a star-spangled wife-beater for free with the purchase of two items of equal or greater value.

Old Navy publicly acknowledges that they cribbed the name from [this Parisian café](http://www.facebook.com/pages/Le-Old-Navy/265145435270?sk=info), so I don’t think you could reasonably take that position even if you were inclined to.

Anyway, squinty jingoists have it [twice as bad in Canada](http://www.armyandnavy.ca/). 😃
