I remember this from a year or two ago: A jet went “missing” somewhere in Africa (don’t remember the country). Was there ever a resolution on it? ---

[Still missing](http://www.sptimes.com/2004/10/24/Worldandnation/Out_of_Africa__into_t.shtml) as of a year ago. Couldn’t find anything more recent. ---

I did a search of [Pprune](http://www.pprune.org/) where they generally have an interest in all things to do with aircraft. The latest musings (because apparently nothing has been definitely discovered, is that there was possibly a scam involving two aircraft) and can be found [here](http://nosuchblog.blog-city.com/yet_another_missing_727_update.htm) The author of this piece does seem to have done some investigative work on the mystery.
