I love how my weather app is always wrong. It should rain by 2. Then, it should rain by 3. Now it should rain by 6. I could’ve planning my going out if I didn’t think t-storms were imminent! At least its cloudy, 88 is less cumbersome with shade. Just had a bologna and pepper jack sandwich. ---

MusicMan’s procedures went well. And very fast. I brought him home and then went to the ortho urgent care for my leg. Same conclusion as last ortho visit, actually. I just have a pulled muscle. But this time they did an ultrasound to rule out a blood clot because it is my calf that hurts like hell. Fortunately, they ruled that out. That was honestly my biggest worry this time as it hurts so ridiculously bad that it is hard to walk, even with a cane. I came home and had a nap. Now Annie is begging for a bite of the cold pizza that I’m working on. **FCM** , I’m glad that you may have a solution. **JtC** , super glad that your other house is sold! ---

Howdy Y’all! Ribs got smoked (they smell so gooooood!!!) and are wrapped in heavy duty foil. They will get heated up in a big slow cooker tomorrow. N.O.T. sallit got made and beans are already for cookage tomorrow. OYKW went and got a dozen ears of corn cause he wants corn on the cob tomorrow. He also got to husk and silk 'em, since he wants it so bad. We had a nice rain this afternoon. We had majik intartoobz pizza and sallit for N.O.L. Now 'tis Netflix, chill, and popcorn time. YAY! **MOOOOOOM** the paper, hopefully, printed enough of a retraction to discourage the great unwashed. However, one must never underestimate the number of stoopid people. I really don’t expect there to be a problem. Also, _ **of course** _ you would always be invited. You would have a special chair under the gazebo, your own personalized float and plenty of ice cold Diet Coke to sip upon. However, if you require a cabana boy, you must supply. Nah, we’d all take turn bein’ your cabana boy. Yay for a hopeful development re BIL. **JtC** yay for your stuff arrivin’. May the unpackin’ and movin’ in of stuff go smoothly and not cause GG too much stress, poor baby. **Pilot** whatever happens between BB and you, I hope it is the best outcome for all parties involved. **Coppertone** appropriate/inappropriate appendages crossed re the interview on Firday. **shoe** you forgot the part where they ask you for a pen to write the check. Thanks for the stories. I have been jonesin’ for some. **MetalMouse** glad the trip home was mostly uneventful. I65, for the most part, is miles and miles of miles and miles. The PODs are empty and hubs is putting our bed together now. The furniture went into the proper rooms but all of the boxes of stuff got stacked in the living room. I was able to unpack a couple of kitchen boxes but all of the rest of the boxes in front go into the fermentation room…and we need to move the bed out of there first. The bed needs to go into my room for the cat and future cat so Hubs can get the shelving out of the living room and put together in the fermentation and then empty his boxes onto the shelves so I can get to the rest of the household stuff. We both forgot how much storage we had in our old laundry room so more cabinets will be ordered. GG is so happy to have his stuff again. We paid to ship his ratty old ugly scratcher and he has already scratched on it and then got into the crows nest for a nap. It is the perfect height for the dining room window, he can just rest his chin on the edge of the crows nest and watch the backyard birds without effort. Even with most of our stuff being in the living room, it is so much quieter in here already. GG barely noticed the empty train going by and we haven’t even hung curtains yet. I just found another kitchen box, so I’m going to unpack it. I would like to have everything unpacked by the end of the year. That’s why the boxes are in the living room, if they went out into the shed I wouldn’t be finished ever because “out of sight, out of mind” ---

**JtC** Wise choice to not park boxes in the back yonder. You are absolutely correct about “out of sight.” Glad GG is enjoying the view. **shoe** I do believe that **JtC** nailed the dipping sauce guys “reasoning.” I may or may not have done similar in my past. Ain’t got not corn up here yet. Bummer. I’ll just do dogs and burgs and slaw tomorrow. Plus a trip to the shop so’s I can take some stuff to the gift shop on Friday. Nobody blow anything up tomorrow! ---

Or the sauce tastes different than what is in Walmart. Some places whip up their own creations and they are way better than mass produced condiments. Jtc, so happy gg has his own furniture back. That will make him very happy. I’m sure you will be happy to have your bed and chairs tonight. ---

Evening all. True to my word I have pretty much stayed parked in front of my computer, reading things and watching You Tube Vids and in general getting caught up. Got some dinner started and have put together my shopping list for the Great Friday Grocery Buying, now need to see what coupons are available. According to the weather wizards it’s still 91F outside so not at all ambitious to go out. **FCM** , I doubt this is the building CEO’s first issue like this; hopefully since he is not ‘family’, he can get through to BIL better than you folks can. I remember once my uncle, who lived a bachelor life as I am doing, fell and cut his head. He called us and we rushed over to find him at the hospital, still bleeding and demanding to go home. My mom and younger uncle (in their 50’s) were arguing with him and getting louder (meanwhile, me and younger uncle’s wife were hiding in a corner, we both had enough sense to stay out of this). Finally my Dad sent Mom and younger uncle away to talk to the Docs and spoke to injured Uncle, who he persuaded to stay and get treatment. So hopefully BIL will listen when the voice of experience and command speaks. **Shoe** , thanks for the stories. I presume the customer got a new large pizza. The bed has been burped.It will get burped again in and hour and then clean sheets will cover the bed while our freshly showered bodies will fill it. I’m not going to fall out of this bed, lol! I would also like to have gotten the kitchen unpacked, but those boxes are behind other boxes. I do have my knives now, so that makes me happy. The R\O system and dishwasher will be installed at the end of this month and the cook top and oven will be in by the end of next month. The only thing left will be the windows which we want to have done before painting. Moving sucks and we have agreed that this will be our last move. Just like we said last and the time before that. ---

Happy Hump Day! The weather has been nice and cool in the mornings. Great sleeping weather. Unfortunately, I didn’t sleep well last night. There was a dog barking somewhere. It wasn’t mine or the neighbors’ dogs. Wherever it was, it had my gang up all night running in and out to check on things. I’m trying for an early night tonight. ---

It appears the mean grandmother wish has been granted. Daughter doesn’t want to risk the weather. So YAY!! Not sure, then, what tomorrow will hold. I considered getting some sparklers 🎇 to stick in the lawn for the kids. Will discuss with Daughter. Maybe. We’ll see how I feel tomorrow. ---

Firecrackers across the fence have commenced. My town will have fireworks tonight that I could view most of from my patio. Me, I walked Nelson a few minutes ago, before things get noisy and have him in my arms inside for cuddles when a loud one from goes crack / boom. Happy fourth! ---

Poor lil guy. I hope the noise stops sooner than later. It is amazingly quiet here. We went by several pop-up fireworks stands today and business was not booming at any of them. I’ve turned on the water heater for my side of the bed, but I will be wearing my Oh So Smexy flannel jammies tonight. @LSLGuy Hubs and I are together because both of us were scared of AIDS. STDs back in the day just took a shot of antibiotics and calling the last few people we had fucked if we remembered (or even had) their number (no handy dandy cell phones to do that for us). AIDS was different and scary so we both got blood work done and promised to be exclusive FWB. The FWB part didn’t work out like we had planned, but we haven’t had any STDs since we went exclusive so there is that. Now that there are so many other icky things out there (HPV/cancer and herpes come to mind), we both stopped playing just in time. That’s my long way of saying that I certainly do understand why BB would be concerned about such things. You are a good looking man who has been around the block once or twice, plus you have such a gift of gab that you probably have female peoples happily listening to you along with the men folks. I would assume that you had many lady friends over your lifetime, so would have been concerned at first as well. You two need to figure out what works for both of you and I hope that nobody catches anything ick. And GG is now whining at me. He wants me to go to bed so he can sleep between us. He couldn’t do that when we were in the full bed, no room. ---
