Tobias is fine. The murmur is NBD. So _whew!_ **FCD** is hurting after his dental work. In a couple of weeks or so, he can get the crown and that adventure will be over. He ws going to make us omelettes for supper, but he’s not up to it, so I made a sorta-omelette for MIL and I’m having chickie salad and 'maters. Thus endeth the day. Chillage is next. ---

It was pointed out to me that I can buy from Costco without a membership by paying 5%, which came to 80¢ on that container of candies. Worth it. So I ordered it. Amazon was also an option. 😉 Irish pizza tonight, annoying Allie with a trip to the vet tomorrow to finish her shots. One thing I did not miss while Buddy was doing his best to ignore being sick was the sibling squabbles between them. He didn’t hassle her during that time, but he seems to be trying to make up for lost sister-bugging now. ---

There were a number of reviews on Amazon mentioning that the mints were delivered as a melted mess. Whereas Costco is about 25 miles from here, so, I hope, less likely to be a melty mess. We shall see. ---

The main reason I make our salsa is because I’m one of _those_ people. Cilantro tastes like soap to me so I split the batch before adding that nasty stuff to Hubs half. I was going to make cornbread with dinner tonight and learned that we don’t have baking powder. I’m seriously over this moving shit, I’m just done. It’s not the big stuff, it’s little shit like that. Today we took a load of curtains to the Salvation Army and I packed up the coffee pot and hot plate we used while we were “camping”. They have a big blue bin for donations but I didn’t want to drop glass into it so I put the coffee pot and carafe next to the bin and then put the boxed, with instructions, hot plate next to it. Hubs objected because “someone might steal them”. Good evening all. The mile and a quarter got swum and I took a little 1/2 mile walk around the soccer fields so exercise has been done. Forgot to get the hamburger buns out of the freezer so made an impromptu patty melt instead. So belly is full and sloth for the evening beckons enticingly. **FCM** , I probably need to go to ‘my Costco’, BJ’s, (don’t know what for, but I’ll probably find something). If I do I’ll see if they have those mints or not; now you’ve got me interested in them. Glad Toby is good on the heart front. **Ms. Owl** , good to see you’re still around and checking up on us. Ok, it’s You Tube watching time (I belong to way too many channels) and then head off for some readin’ before bedtime. Take care all. ---

And once again our VISA has been compromised. Dammit. No idea when it happened, but we got a charge for $0.00 from the Channel Islands. Pain in the patoot - I’m having to go thru and change the accounts that will be charged in the next few days, then when the new card arrives, I’ll have to change all of them. Dammit. ---

Morning, mumpers! It’s currently 15c/59f with a predicted high of 19c/67f and cloudy. Weather app says “This fucking overcast nonsense if complete shit. Utter fucking rubbish.” I’m happy with it, it’s blissfully cool out there and there’s a nice breeze coming through the open window next to my desk. **Moooom** I’m glad to hear Tobias is ok and is being a medical marvel. Hope **FCD** ’s tooth woes are sorted soon as well. Boo to the credit card though, that happens far too often! **Ms Owl** nice to see you around here again 🙂 **JtC** men do have some strange ideas about getting rid of stuff, don’t they? 'im indoors is just the same, it’s a battle getting him to part with stuff that he hasn’t touched for years, even when it’s perfectly serviceable stuff that someone else could use. **Seanette** hope the vet visit goes well! I still need to get our girlies in for their vaccinations so that they can consider going outside. Cherry will probably enjoy it, she’s been sitting on the windowsill by an open window, looking out to see what’s there. Blossom is the opposite, she still runs away from everything, including us, even her food bowl sometimes. Big day over here, it’s A-level results day which means we will be getting updated numbers on our incoming students. That means a lot of work in the next couple of weeks getting module choices stuff out to them but it’ll be good to see how many we’re getting. I have a meeting with the OSTM this afternoon (thanks, **swampy** , I’m keeping that!) and am debating whether or not to mention the level of noise and distraction in the office. I’ll see how today goes. I am tired because I had a late night and an early morning but that’s what happens when you go to the pub with friends - and I know being tired makes me grumpy so perhaps I’ll save it for another day. 'im indoors is making Chinese chicken curry and egg-fried rice for dinner tonight so i have that to look forward to, I have nothing planned so should probably iron my heap of t-shirts so I can have the full range for a decision on what to wear to Saturday’s big gig. Right now though, time for a cuppa before I put out today’s skip fires. ---

And it was a stoopit short night - I didn’t fall asleep till after 1 and I woke a bit after 5. A major contributor is my array of bug bites on both legs - itchy like crazy!! I should have taken an antihistamine before bed, but once the revenge of the bug bites set it, I was in no mood to search for the bottle of pink pills. Long day ahead. In fact, pretty long. I need to fetch the kids by 5 - **FCD** is going to take me and we’re going to give the kids a ride in the new car. We’ll go to McD’s for Happy Meals, then back to their house, and my sweetie will go home. I’ll be putting the grandspawn to bed, hoping that the concert won’t run too long. Then **FCD** will come back to fetch me (I no longer drive after dark) and I hope I’ll get decent sleep tonight since we’re going to my mom’s tomorrow. I’ll try to get a couple of loads of laundry done today before I have to leave. And I need to pick any 'maters that are ripe. I should change MIL’s sheets, too. Every time I suggest it, she says hers are fine. I can take care of it while she’s at the dentist. So, as you can see, a whirlwind of excitement awaits me. Happy Thursday!
