Happy Sunday! No park today as it was supposed to rain so I turned off the alarms. No rain at all. Tomorrow, they go to daycare, so they’ll not be bored. I’m sure Trevor loves visiting with you **FCM**. My son had to read _To Kill a Mockingbird_ in HS. He really liked it. We had to read _East of Eden_, _Catcher in the Rye_, _Tale of Two Cities_, _Animal Farm_, _1984_, _Don Quixote_, _The Outsiders_, and thankfully, only one chapter of Dante’s _Inferno_. I thought CITR sucked, and TO is for teenagers. D’sI is for headaches. I know I read _Summer of 42_, but I don’t remember if it was required. My favorite author was Agatha Christie, but Shirley Jackson ran a close second. I doubt you’d like Jackson’s books though. Thanks for posting the pics **Ooopsie**. It actually looks better in real life than it does in the pic. I got it from da jungle, where it was $40. I don’t know what one I’ll get for him next. He likes to do [Crystal 3D](https://3dcrystalpuzzle.com/products/panda) but they fall apart too easily. I’ll need to get a display case soon. Bailey looks adorable. **Shoe** , sometimes the fix is something stupid or simple, so no need to get a professional in right away. I forget what all he tried. He had an audience though. The donkeys across the street cantered up to the fence and watched my son the whole time he was working on the mower. They are so cute. I hope your son recovers quickly, **Taters** --- _[View the full topic](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/old-on-this-day-in-history-in-the-mmp/1005605)._
