They might go over hygiene and cleaning, how not to get burned on a steam tray, and OSHA standards for kitchens. Not bad to actually see it and get paid, so I hope that’s true. ---

I talked to my sister–the one who’s afraid of SIL. She was appalled by what SIL said to me. It’s always nice talking to her because she’s such a sunny soul. Howdy Y’all! We had a, for us, big crowd at church. Then there was homemade ‘niller ice cream with all kinds of toppin’s, nanner bread and blondies in the parish hall afterwards. So we had dessert first. Then we picked up stoner food and brought it back to da cave to eat. Nappage then ensued. The biiiiiig trash can has been hauled all the way down to the road for pickup tomorrow. Tomorrow night is men’s night over to the church house, so steaks are marinatin’ and beer is chillin’. There was much discussion about the DAWGS game yestiddy while we were in the parish hall. I was not the only one who had phone in hand ready to dial 911. The big Clemson fan amongst us said he did not want to talk about the game Clemson played at Jawja Tech\*. Clemson lost on a last second field goal. Poor guy was In mournin’. \*Jawja Tech, re the NATS. The main campus is located on North Avenue in Etlanner. UGA folks refer to it as North Avenue Trade School. NATS calls UGA Cow U. ---

I cleaned, dusted, laundered, took out the trash and recycling, and filled the ~~bird~~ squirrel feeder. When I swept the back porch, I noticed the dryer vent hornked out a couple of lint balls. Good Sunday evening all. Dinner at BJ’s was not that good, albeit the Triple Chocolate Kazookie was worth it. Did end up going to the gym and my combined calories burned (according to the machines I work out on) was over 9,000 calories this week, which is probably too many, so I’ll cut back some next week. Outside of that and watching some tackleball, not much else, still have to hang up and otherwise sort my clothes before bedtime (if I put the baskets in the bedroom, I can forget about them quite easily I have found). And now to work my way through the long march of messages posted since this morning. **Taters**. I have been lucky in my neighbors, they have been mostly quiet folks for the twenty or so years I have been here, very few disruptions and even the dogs have been well-behaved. **Cookie** , sounds like a good day with family. And an excellent excuse for sloth today. **Oopsie** , hope your upcoming travels go well. And a few extra {{hugs}} for learning how to live without Bailey. **Nellie** , you get yourself into those situations because you care about people, and families can be hard to deal with. Your mention of rain made me look at my 10-day forecast and right now the next week is dry and rain chances after that are only 25%, so not a good time for the yard/gardening folks. **FCM** , don’t get on web-sights with commercials too much, but sounds like items worth avoiding. Jawja Tech I once had an install of an exhibition at Ga tech. I gotta say, Atlanta is a very irritating city. Every damn street is called peachtree or peach lane, and you go along and suddenly the lane you are in turns into a parking spot. Stupid exciting day, climbed up on the roof and cut down a bunch of the walnut tree branches that were providing a squirrel highway. I’m too old to be using a chainsaw on a roof.
