I can’t remember what the puzzle was. Something like “14 F in a G.” Anyone remember what I’m talking about? I wasn’t really looking to try and solve the original puzzle, only find it. But I can’t help myself… What if the a isn’t the word a, but only the first letter of the word? As in, it’s not “in a” something but rather “in alternative” or whatever. ---

That would be a very neat twist to throw people off. [Here’s a thread from some forum](https://thecommonroom.createaforum.com/fun-and-games/initial-letters-quiz/) that played the game in 2020, explaining the rules and giving many examples. They agreed that the initials had to come from a common phrase. These don’t if nobody has ever spotted it in a couple of decades. ---

14 karats of gold in a Fixed Partial Denture. Without the “of” it makes more sense. K refers to the purity of gold, not the amount. ---
