I saw it during a football game - can’t see that it is on Youtube yet. Hilarious - he is in an old, stuffy Man’s Study, wearing a smoking jacket and smoking a pipe, with a nautical picture in the background. And then he gets up and starts walking to the left - and the nautical picture seems to go on forever behind him, with the boat getting more and more masts. And the whole time, he is going of on “if you have IT - you want more of IT - if you don’t have IT, people who have IT know immediately that you don’t have IT, etc…” Surprisingly funny - Old Spice is doing a nice job of repositioning their brand… ---

That’s one of the funniest commercials I’ve ever seen. I’m biased because I like Bruce, but they combined the huge ship and his long, vague monologue to great effect. And I loved that there was an identical second chair at the far end of the painting. ---

I just told my husband that Bruce Campbell was the new spokesman for Old Spice–and he immediately said “Cool. I’m gonna start wearing Old Spice.” And I don’t think he was kidding. I always liked the way Old Spice smelled. My grandpaw used to wear it. I’ll be perfectly happy if it becomes popular again. ---
