Oh, we shall be foes then. Iā€™m on the blue team with a Makita XCF10. But yet I have 3 DeWalt chop saws, Bosch routers, a table saw from Grizzly. Iā€™m not a purist. I even went as far as a Rigid spindle sander. ---

Iā€™m 67 so probably One of the older youngsters. Or younger oldsters. Furnace guy was here. He talked technical stuff about speed of blowers, etc. and of course I didnā€™t understand it, but it works now. And thatā€™s the important thing. One of the ladies at the Barn is studying to be a saddle fitter so I gave her my 1990 saddle to dissect. She sent me pictures of the innards. Modern saddles are stuffed with either wool or synthetic wool stuff. My 1990 saddle was stuffed with hair. I assume horse hair as opposed to people hair. ---

What a day. Five-hour round-trip to the office and back to get my new laptop. I had to urinate when I got there, so I went to the basement bathroom. The power went out again. (There was a crew rerouting the power ahead of tonightā€™s storm.) There is absolutely no light in that windowless room within an unlighted room. Oy, vehā€¦ Got home and tried to connect the new laptop to my home network. It said the password is wrong. Funny, Iā€™m connected on my Mac. And the password for the home network that is in Keychain Access is the one that Iā€™m entering on the Lenovo. I was finally able to connect to the Internet using the Xfinity public Wi-Fi, but I donā€™t like doing that. I want to be on my own network. VPN is still down, so I canā€™t get any work done. I contacted our IT guy and told him about the connectivity issue with the new computer and the home network. He says he canā€™t do anything about it until tomorrow morning. ---

We had one, but we sold it along with the long work bench it was installed in. TWELVE FORTUNE COOKIES!!!_ I havenā€™t tried one, but if theyā€™re stale(r than usual) Iā€™ll assume they were trying to offload their stock. Twelve?!?!? I got the childā€™s sweet and sour chicken for MIL. I know she doesnā€™t eat much, so I put 4 pieces of chicken on her plate and cut them in half for easier handling. She ate 3 halves then declared herself full. The only other thing sheā€™s eaten today is half a piece of rye toast and a few sips of hot chocolate. Poor **FCD** was in tears at the table watching his mom. She seems to slip in and out of reality and he doesnā€™t know how to deal with it. Iā€™ve figured out that instead of asking her to make a choice, Iā€™ll say ā€œWhy donā€™t youā€¦ā€ and she seems to respond better. Choosing between coffee and chocolate seems to be too much for her. My advice - donā€™t ever get old. It sucks. Back to Chinese food - why do they give you enough for 2 or 3 meals with each ā€œservingā€? Even the childā€™s dinner was more than I would have eaten in one sitting. Anyway, I know what Iā€™m having for lunch tomorrow. But for now, itā€™s recliner time till my supper settles enough for me to bike or tread the mill. ---

Can somebody 'splain why laundry gets lighter once it has been folded? The big whomp of clothes out of the dryer into the living room is really heavy, as is the basket coming down stairs, but once it has been folded itā€™s much lighter. Or maybe Iā€™m crazy. ---

Happy happy joy joy. About to leave for my date with the tortilla press. Will probably also swing by the tire place for air pressure and wiper checkups (they do it free). I probably do need new wiper blades. Might or might not hit Walmart for some groceries, depending on weather and mood, since nothing thatā€™s needed is ā€œMUST GET THIS TODAY!ā€ levels of urgency. ---

A Holiday Shop & Stroll today. I had 2 pieces of pizza, cookies, cheese, etc. Stores are having free samples. I did not want to get in holiday mode but it was snowing and I was holiday moded against my will. Its wet snow. Tomorrow its to rain. ---

Howdy Yā€™all! Have I mentioned that **MOOOOOOM** is six months and six days _older_ than me before? šŸ˜› **CupCakes** I am five months and two days older than you. Doc pronounced me still alive and the vampires took blood. Then I met OYKW at Pearlyā€™s where we et what seemed like at least half of the breakfast menu. I fed twuck and got some stuff from šŸ˜²Wally Jr.šŸ˜². OYKW went back to da cave after we et and was snoozed in his recliner when I got back. I was nice and didnā€™t make a lot of noise because he looked so peaceful. I am soooooo nice sometimes. Itā€™s coolish out which makes me want to sleep, but I shall cruise teh intartoobz for a while first. ---

I still remember when I was eight years old. In Sunday School we got the verse about ā€œthe years of a manā€™s life are three score and tenā€ At the time I thought that sounded llike forever and wondered what one did to fill up all that time. This NYE I will hit that seventy and by golly I want more. This isnā€™t enough!!! Psalm 90, verse 10 ---
