No idea what y’all are going on about upthread. 32F and sunny this morning, but will be 80 by Wednesday. My grandson’s concert was very good yesterday. Those are some very talented kids. The string ensemble’s first violin looked to be about 10 years old! Anyway, his group kicked off with The Imperial March from Star Wars and nailed it. I enjoyed the whole thing, but it was very tiring for my old bones and I’m feeling it this morning. We have to do laundry today. We’re five days overdue and I’m about out of underwear. TMI? Also need to get some shopping done. But for now, breakfast awaits my efforts. ---

**Happy Birthday, MetalMouse!** Goo seems better today. She was eating kibble when I got up. I finished the last piece of pot roast and the last ¼ potato for breakfast, and she begged. Nope. I got her uneaten gooshy food out of the fridge, be we haven’t given it to her yet. The uneaten gooshy food in the other cats’ dishes was gone. I suspect she at the residue in the night. Catmom is still taking her to the vet today. ---

Good morning everyone. The Trio walked this cool morning. The weather app said 44º, so I had to dig my warmer coat out of the closet. Unfortunately, I had already cleared out the pockets, but **Mrs Magill** had me covered when my nose got runny. It’s cool down in my office, so I get to wear my Not Leaving the House pants. **Mrs Magill** joked last week that I rock the late nineties leggings and long t-shirt look. Bless her - she really is a trooper with all this. I’d say I don’t know where I’d be without her, but I have a pretty good idea. a cold morning for philly. the 40-50 degree drop (from high 80-low 90 to high 30 to low 40) was achieved without severe weather. we had cloudy and some rain as the temp.s dropped. happy metalmouse day! sticks and scones, it is very intense when you are in the middle of it. battles with insurance are so very frustrating. another full week at the office and condo, then double booked on saturday. green committee meeting on tues, with earthday stuff saturday afternoon. on saturday morning there is an armenian dedication at the art museum. My lovely wife says I have “brain privilege.” Today holds more lemon Jell-o, a few errands and tasks, and more lemon Jell-o. It will conclude with an antibacterial shower and sleeping alone and cat-free on fresh bedding. ---

And we’re home. We had to order some parts because **FCD** ’s original plan wouldn’t work. But we had lunch and got a few minor chores done. Then a quick run to WalMart because I’m just short the amount of blue yarn I need to finish the lap blanket I’m working on. I just finished cutting back the two big butterfly bushes by the shop. I should have hacked them all the way back last fall. I’ll know this year. Not sure what the rest of today will hold - for now, some chillage. ---

The instant I saw the title for this week, I knew which inmate was responsible. Love it, doggio! **Happy Birthday, dear MetalMouse!** I’m so glad you got yourself borned! Is there cake in your immediate future? Today went boink right off the bat. My sister in Louisiana called. This morning her car got rear-ended by an inattentive driver and was totaled. She’s fine, and the other driver admitted fault, but of course, she was rattled. I got her calmed down and told her what to do. Then I put in a delivery order at her local grocery store for wine and snacks from my other siblings and I, which she was delighted to get. All this involved multiple phone calls, so I’m way behind today. I’m so grateful she’s OK and always wears her seatbelt. I shall try to venture forth to get to the pharmacy, as my new epi-pen is awaiting. I’m not allergic to anything; it’s a requirement for the Xolair shots I get, plus the disorder I have could potentially cause anaphylactic shock just because it can. I’ll probably get a contact high from all the stoners celebrating 4/20. I am done cat sitting. The cat lady cut her trip short and got home last night. I left her a cat-a log with notes from each visit. I noticed a framed black-and-white photo on her nightstand of a newborn with its eyes closed, so I wonder if she hasn’t experienced a tragedy, which might explain her extreme connection with her cat. And here I’ve been rolling my eyes. Shame on me. **cookie** , the noise sounds awful. I hope it stops before you commit justifiable homicide. **lily** , what a GORGEOUS heart-melter!
