She doesn’t get to sleep in the room with me~too prone to randomly licking my face with that raspy sandpaper tongue when she gets bored and she is relentless, so I do everything to not let her slip into the bedroom with me when I go to bed. She’s _almost_ as determined to get in as I am to keep her out. Almost. ---

Good morning. I have all the hope in the world today of getting that grant application in, and then if I’m really lucky the MDHHS reports can be completed a day early. I would enjoy some rest time tomorrow after a very, very, very long month. I am continuing with the Break Up With Your Phone course, it’s great. I’m on Week 2. Cool things have happened. Saturday I played an actual video game (Dorfromantik), something I regularly complain about not having time for. I used to sit and poke around on my phone after I make my bed in the mornings, but this morning I did some sitting (on the sofa) meditation and then took an actual physical journal and wrote down all the things I was looking forward to today. It was a nice change. I also disabled most of my notifications. Yes, he can tare. It’s amazing the things he intuitively understands. I’m pretty sure he understands that 1kg = 1,000 grams because he keeps switching back and forth.
