I’m 62 years old. Still can get it up but it takes a lot longer and lesss often than when I was younger. (of Course) But, how do I explain this to my new girlfrend? ( She’s 50 + and and wants lots of lovin’. ( We have a great intellectual relationship, but…? Can any old farts out advise me ? I’ve explained this to her but I don’t think she understands this: Ladies? Gentelmen?😕 ---

See your doc, especially to review any meds or disease states which might decrease libido or erectile function. Consider Viagra. Also consider expanding your repertoire to include lots of ways to pleasure her before, after, and _in place of_ penile-vaginal intercourse. QtM, MD ---

The one thing I’ll add to **Qadgop** ’s post is that you ought to have your prostate checked, not just for possible cancer, but to see if you’ve got an enlarged prostate. An enlarged prostate can not only make you take awhile to pee, but it can also put a damper on your sexual response. It’s one of those things that can happen to us guys in middle age. Fortunately, it’s quite treatable with drugs or minor surgery. Talk to your doc. ---
