Rupert Murdoch doesn’t actually own the concept of “newspaper”, and despite his enormous age is not responsible for the four hundred year history of the British press. The newspapers everywhere were actually my favourite part - did you not notice what was written on them? Quotes, names of great works and authors, etc. It was fun, when there was something crap happening, to try to read parts of them.
