If you put the money in, the medals will follow. Of course young Chowder, as a true Brit one should not have drawn attention to our success. :o Nevertheless one enjoys watching sport, especially played in the right spirit. As Kipling would never have said “It’s not whether you win or lose, but how many you beat Australia by!” :eek: And of course it’s lovely to see how our colonial cousins are doing. 😉 ---

Well I haven’t been called young in Og knows how long, old bastard, cantankerous git…yes, young …Hmmm. Anyways you’re quite right I should not have drawn attention to the magnificent achievements of Team GB. Nossir, what I should have done is offered my “Hard Luck and Jolly Good Try Old Chappies” to our colonial cousins.
