That Rio thing was like a Presentation By Committee. A lot of great individual elements, but not exciting as a whole. ---

Would only need to be 8 minutes if they were airing these ceremonies live, which I presume they are not as there’s obviously something in their broadcasting rights contract that they cannot broadcast anything live. ---

Interesting that the reaction on here is mostly positive whereas on the british board I’m on the reaction is amused face-palming at how pants it is. And yet they all loved the opening ceremony, whereas here the verdict was mixed. ---
