It’s funny how the Dope invades your life sometimes. I saw [Inglourious Basterds](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0361748/) in the theater today, for about the 5th or 6th time, but I hadn’t seen it since last year. One of the characters is named Omar and as soon as I heard it, I thought, Oh, I wonder if anyone mentioned this guy in that thread. Get home, search. Nope. For those who’ve seen the movie but can’t place him, when Aldo Raine (Brad Pitt) and Donny Donowitz, aka “The Bear Jew” (Eli Roth) and Bridget von Hammersmark (Diane Kruger) attend the premiere, there’s another Basterd with them as an “Italian assistant” to help with Operation Kino. He’s [seen in this scene](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_WYVUNY6z6E), standing between Christoph Waltz and Eli Roth. That character is Omar Ulmer, played by an actor named, I kid you not, [Omar Doom](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2374829/). ---

Khalid’s (guy I’m seeing) little brother who just got out of prison. Real cute, seems nice. Before that it would have been some Spanish-speaking dude who was in love with me when I was 15 and working at McDonald’s. Because those are the only two Omars I recall knowing. Oh, then there’s Omar Epps. I’d have his babies, I suppose. ---
