I can’t believe you hate them so much” I hear these responses all the time to my “not likes”. Oh, and also, the show _The Office_? It’s a total bore, I don’t get why so many people love it. I’ve watched it once and was not impressed. ---

I’ve been turning down chocolate ice cream since I was a little kid. I like chocolate, but I emphatically can’t stand chocolate ice cream. BBQ ribs. I’ve tried to like them, really I have. I can’t like them. Nothing will ever make me like them. I don’t think I’ve ever watched a whole episode of Seinfeld on purpose, so add me to that list. 🙂 I’m not a fan of South Park either. Sometimes I’ll catch an episode when I’m bored and there’s nothing else to watch, but then I feel like I just wasted half an hour. I don’t mind crude humor, but the show just misses the mark with me. Meh. Hippy Hollow, I love your description of the flavor of watermelon. I’ve tasted some like that. But I can’t be added to W.H.O.A., because I’ll eat it till I’m sick (if it’s a good one). ---

I do not like: South Park Seinfeld The Big Lebowski (and I tend to like the Coen brothers’ work, just not this one) Also, getting massages. The concept of a _stranger_ touching me on my person is about the most stressful thing I can imagine. And I’m not even that crazy about people I know giving back rubs or neck rubs, that’s just too much rubbing. I don’t _think_ I’m anti-touching among people I know and like … I will hold your hand, pat your back, give you a high five (apparently I am too old for the fist bump) … but the squeeziness of the massage is just oogy to me. Enough with the grabby grabby! ---

For me, his stuff always smacks of wistful high school BS. It’s like he’s stuck in perpetual adolescence. The characters are usually stereotypes and the writing is on par with a crappy sitcom. Just yuck. Plus, I hate his face. Seriously. I want to punch him in his big fivehead. ---

As a huge nerd I’m expected to be entertained by the same things that entertain most other huge nerds. But I’m not. I don’t like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, or Star Trek. Well, I like some Star Trek, but my regard for it seems to be the exact inverse of most “Trekkies”. I think the best series was Enterprise, but I think TNG is boring, and TOS is just unwatchable. Also, I hate anime. ---

Massages, YES! I mean, if you give me a spa certificate, you have wasted your money. I won’t go, dammit! :mad: And I also hate getting my hair done, I dread it (well, sort of) and am inordinately relieved when the torture is over and I can leave. Most ‘reality shows’ - Bridezillas, Yakking Rich Housewives, Little People, Jon & Kate, Bachelors and Bachelorettes, Survivors, Great Racers… Hamburger, in any form, McDonalds, $15 Angus burgers, or home-cooked. I’d rather go hungry. Disney World. It was OK, and I had a good time, but I don’t plan to go back. Too crowded, long waits in lines, expensive. Amusement park rides - no, I don’t want to go on the Bungee Jump of Death. Or the Vomit Comet. I’ll be happy to stand here and wave at you up there on the World’s Highest Ferris Wheel. That goes for water parks and giant water slides, too. Sports in general. Football in particular.
