Blurf. I busted the screen on my cell phone yesterday, and I don’t know how. We left for Wally_World, and I stuck it in my trusty belt carrier in working order. Did a couple of errands on the way that involved some lifting and carrying, then pulled it out at W_W to take a call to find a big assed crack and non functional display. The thing that makes me think TVCTPMO is involved is that I’m 3 weeks from my upgrade window opening where I can get a new phone before the contract is up. :mad: I pulled a zombie out of my big bag of useless old cell phones and resurrected it for the interim. Saturday at The Lair is man chore and project day. I will start momentarily with [William Tell Overture] To the dump, the dump, the dump dump dump [/WTO] Mebbe by noon the yahd will have dried enough from last night’s frawg strangler that I can mow. Special bonus project for today is replacing the mailbox post, which has rotted off underground and is about to fall over for good. ---

\*\*BBBobbio \*\*- you’re renting - shouldn’t the landlord be replacing the mailbox post?? We’re going to the Hollywood VFD’s GIANT HOME SHOW today. I looked at the list of vendors - Kettle Corn, Mary Kay, Vacation rentals… OK, there are mostly home and garden related booths, but I get a kick out of the random people who show up at these things. They must make money from it, but if I’m going to a Home Show, I don’t think I’d bother stopping at a cosmetics booth. Then again, what do I know?? No crabbers yet today - I’ll give 'em another hour to log in before declaring today a bust. Next payday will be really slim, bordering on pathetic. I’m thinking of applying for another job… ---

**MOOOOOOM** a free makeover from a random stranger at an outdoor home show. I just cannot understand why you would not want to do that! 😃 Coffee pot is cleaned out and I took the trash from the kitchen out. I say that’s deservin’ of a nappy poo. ---

Waiting for my clothes to finish getting washed so I can take a shower. Umm, no, I’m not sitting here naked. 😉 I received another letter from my mother. Ugh. It’s probably long, rambling, and disturbing (I haven’t opened it yet.) I’d love to go out and do something this weekend, like go to a concert or something, but I don’t think there’s much going on. I should work on writing music. Get off my lazy ass and actually do it. ---

Back from the home show… and Lowe’s. I think it took all of 20 minutes to see the entire show. Good thing it was free - I’d have been pissed if we’d paid money for that. Who am I kidding - we wouldn’t have gone if there’d been an admission charge… 😃 ---

Happy Saturday! It’s a cloudy icky 79 degrees. It feels hotter. Done with PiddlePup and I need to get to irk instead of fooling around all after noon. I have a birthday party to go to tomorrow so that will cut into my irk. However, I only got 4 hours sleep last night so I am feeling like a zombie and want a nap. I have to run a check up to the PO to mail for OAOASO, cause I said I would and I’m too damn nice to say no. Then it’s time for irk. ---

We had thunderbolts and lightning, very, very frightening last night. Actually, I love a good storm and it brought a little rain to clear the air out. My dog, Brandi, however, just hates thunderstorms. My son left just a bit ago and I probably won’t see him again until Thanksgiving. He is off for his third year of college. Although it was sort of a PITA, I actually enjoyed driving my son and all his stuff over to the other side of the state for school each year. It kind of made saying “see you in a few months” easier for me. This morning we loaded up his rig, and bang, he was gone. I know he was anxious to go back and see all of his friends, but it doesn’t make it easier for me. Oh well. He has a good, reliable rig now, and there is always the possibility he may come back for a weekend between now and Thanksgiving. I doubt it, but you never know. Well, I must face the day and shower. We’re expected at a friend’s house for a BBQ later today. ---

I want a tboomer! It’s hawt and sunny out. I went out to the cee-mint pond for a bit but it’s kinda borin’ all by myself even if’n the water does feel good.
