Any Dopers who believe in any diety are hereby \*implored \*to pray for rain. There’s a storm cell west of Denton, and you can actually see the front on the radar - a thin green line ahead of the rain cell. Please oh please, please hold together to make it through the entire Dallas area. Please, little front, please don’t fall apart on me! It’s overcast, and a teensy bit windy already, and ohmygodyouguysweneedrainsoverybadly. :: rain dance :: Somebody: go wash your car. That always does the trick! ---

IT’S IN DALLAS!!! My back is to the window and I had to turn around when I noticed things getting dark. I was shocked. SHOCKED I TELL YOU! A handful of people have stopped by my desk to ask if it’s raining. ---

Ok - everybody calm down. I used to live there, I know this has happened before. You have seen this strange and bizarre sight before. There is no need to panic. Should water droplets begin falling from the sky, do not worry, you will still be able to breathe. However, traffic should seize up completely. But not to worry, the temperature is only the nineties today. That reminds me, have to remember to turn off the AC when I get home and open the windows. Might get a little chilly tonight though. ---

Yeah, **El Nene.** The sun just came back out. Other people would say, “Oh, how pretty - it’s sunny out!” but I’m sitting here thinking, in my best Gollum voice, “Noooo! Noes, it \*burnses \*it does! Nasty burny sunshine!” ---

I just read a weather report that tropical storm _Fictitious_ is supposed to dump about 10" of rain on Texas in the next few days. Here’s hoping! ---

We had some good rain last night and this morning here in DFW. My poor, yellow, burned up lawn was grateful for the drink! Right now it’s a glorious 79 degrees outside, though it’s expected to rise back up to 99 or 100.
