Stretch what?
Anyway, he was one of the main features of _Beyond the Mat_. It was made plainly, painfully clear that his life was nothing if not screwed up beyond belief. Lots of drugs, lots of alcohol, and not much thinking until it was too late

Whew - I thought you were going to say he was dead. Too many of my favorite wrestlers from the 80s and early 90s are dying lately :(.

Did anyone notice what a coke-head he’s become? Wow! He had all the classic signs. When he first came out they zoomed in on his face/upper body, he was doing the jaw-twitch thing then he kept messing with his nose . . . then he spoke. He has chemical burn in his throat, you can hear it when he talks. I kept clearing my throat because it was really annoying and I just wanted his to do something about it, but I realized he couldn’t. Poor guy, he aged badly. My mom used to love him back in the day. Sad. But the dude with HBK aged nicely and they did very well with each other, just like he’s never been gone.

I didn’t see RAW, but I saw Jake at a signing a year or so ago, and he looked rough. I am suprised Vince dusted him off after all the problems Jake had with cocaine and crack.

Wow. I have been out of the loop! The only two I was aware of were Andre the Giant and (just remembering as I read him on your list) Owen Hart.
Everyone else? I’m finding out now for the first time.

I could be mistaken as to his actual cause of death, but I am pretty sure he had cancer as well.

That may be. And I could be wrong. But I just found a fansite that says that he died when he fell asleep behind the wheel of his car on his way home in Charlotte, NC.
