I don’t often chime in on threads like this, but I agree—please bring back the old smileys, or at least balm our anger by adding a couple of more. (I’ve always been a fan of the “slamming head against brick wall” and “nauseated” types, with the “brain exploding” running a close third) ---

We’re here to fight ignorance. Smilies’ function is to soften rancor: bringing back the old 1990s versions would be counter-productive. I might think about editing the current rolley though. ---

Nah, seriously - we have enough rancor here. I toned down the giggles on Mr. Rolleyes. It’s subtle - you may not notice the difference immediately, though it’s readily observable when the images are alongside one another. Snarko-meter readings are now registering at 3.8 quatloos.
