It’s funny, quirky, but yes, WTF were they thinking? - I can only imagine it was "Oooh, this will get us some attention! - after all it’s not as if the device itself can be sold on its intrinsic merits, because it doesn’t have any. ---

Damn, that’s creepy, in so many ways. First it’s a penis, which kinda also looks like a sperm, then the other thing is clenching its creepy buttocks, then it vomits out an eyeball, of all creepy things, then the other walking penis/sperm gets an eye on it (a nice bloodshot one, even), and the other weird thing has a big pit in it then. EEeeeeeech. ---

That is what’s known as ‘viral marketing’. Make an ad so outrageous that everyone links to it and million of people not only see it with no cost to Microsoft, but they talk about it, talk about the product, and cement it into their brains.
