# OMG!!! Simulpost insurance?

I was just about to simulpost over in Café society, but it gave me an error message saying that I had posted the same thing in the last 5 minutes, and wouldn’t let me post it.

When did this happen?

Actually, this happened when the Board migrated to vBulletin v. 3.0.0 RC4. It’s a good feature, even if it’s not 100% perfect. I’ve seen a LOT fewer duplicates since then. Now, if they can just train the hamsters to tap dance…

Actually, that would be a doublepost, not a simulpost.

Doublepost: Same poster submits the same post twice.

Simulpost: Two or more posters post the same or similar information, answer, joke, etc. at the same time.
