There was an NBC broadcast where they actually gave out the name of a Neo-Nazi group who was in the parade. I’m trying to backtrack to it. ---

A civilized country which descends into autocracy and whose economy is then destroyed to feed the vanity of one man is a terrible thing to watch. It’s even harder to live through. When most of the successful classes have had their livelihoods and assets destroyed, some small fraction will turn to scammery, even beastly scammery. Smart, creative, capable people unused to hardship will do amazing feats of self-justification when hardship comes to them too. Mark my words. ---

Exactly how did the scam work… I read the BBC article and I don’t get why the hospital workers would get paid the social security payment for the infants. Would not these payments gone to the parents? Or is social security payment a British way of saying medical insurance payout.? Aka Medicare Billing fraud? ---

From the little I read, the “social security” was payments made to the hospital for the unnecessary medical procedures. Think of it like an medical office billing patients for thousands of dollars of medical equipment they don’t need (and may not even know is being ordered under their name) and collecting the money from medicare. ---

This a bit late, but here are two contenders for Evil MFers. Both of these cases happened in China. Her post resulted in some of the most vile comments, theatening to visit violence upon the children for … being _other_, I guess. I mean, Navajo youth invading Arizona, _this will not stand!_ ---

A couple of clarifications, not clear from your post: the woman who posted was _trying_ to stir up shit, not just randomly posting a video of young people in the desert. Her voiceover included questions like “who dropped these people here?” i.e. “these look like illegal aliens to me.” I think that’s what the troglodytes in the comments were reacting to.
