I think the point the person was making was that, given all the (manufactured) confusion over whether or not it was actually a nazi salute, if the people of Germany are treating it as one, the rest of us should as well. Trump ending funding for Dr. Fauci’s security detail (he’s been faced with death threats and is an ongoing target by unhinged social media crazies) qualifies as evil. We may remember this sort of fellow from our own teen years. Jason B. Harrell, a self-employed plumber and (autocephalous?) outreach minister who reached out and pasted a 14 year old kid, and threatened his life and the life of his family. Harrell’s plumbing Yelp page had to be frozen for the time being.
