But Trumplikins keep maintaining that these people are _illegal_ and “they’re breaking the law”. Trump is actually treating them as if they are hardened, violent, criminals. There are reports of _children_ being deported in chains and leg restraints (I have not been able to confirm those). It’s all show, and part of the narrative that ALL immigrants are a danger and a threat to “Real Americans”. So no, it’s not _just_ for the sake of cruelty, there’s a propaganda message here, too. Along with being cruel and deliberately cruel. ---

Not that the video isn’t evil, but I am hesitant to allow Trump/Republican/political posts in this thread. We already have separate ones for all of them, and I get the feeling that the subject would take this thread over completely, just from sheer volume. If that’s okay, then fine, but a thread about non-DC evil is still worthwhile, IMO. ---

Shouldn’t the judge step in at some point? KUOW is pretty awesome for breaking news around here. That’s why I send them money every month. Though I don’t think this raises to the level of “evil”. He was definitely stupid 30 years ago, but if what’s alleged is true, the gun was unloaded and he was carrying it as a result of threats against his life.
