Real me would not. Real me would not abandon a dog like that. The idiot in the news article engaging in wishful thinking expects somebody else to grab the dog and do … something … with it and by magic later it’ll be taken care of properly by the proper people. To the degree they’re thinking of the dog at all by then. ---

What is it with rich men doing depraved sex shit with vulnerable people? Is it that all men would do this if rich, or is it that rich men tend to have tendencies that led them to be rich but also be depraved? Cosby, Trump, Weinstein, Epstein, Diddy, this dude, etc. Would the males from this board become sex rapists/weirdos if they were given a billion bucks? ---

I want to say “confirmation bias” but that’s probably not the correct term. What you’re seeing is depraved people who happen to have the funds and opportunity to indulge in their depravity. That doesn’t mean every, or even a majority, of rich men doing these depraved things. ---

This isn’t something I have thought about a lot, but I’m glad to hear from people that have that this is a unique population that would be horrible humans no matter what and it’s not all. But, also sad to think there is an extremely HUGE amount of males that would do this if they had the funds. What is the population of extremely rich guys that have done this sort of shit? Can we extrapolate to the rest of the non-1%? I’m guessing there are plenty of sociology studies on this that I am ignorant of.
