Actually, it appears to be the most infectious religion, a little ahead of Islam, and about twice as much so as Hinduism. ---

Disclosure: It’s been many years since I tried it, but I recall finding the taste of the chicken so unpleasant that I put it on my “never again” list long before I knew anything about the company’s politics. The meat itself tasted of a mix of slightly spoiled vegetable and pickle brine. (I like pickles, but it just tasted wrong to me.) As **Atamasama** says, taste is subjective. I’m not going to judge anyone else for liking it. But I also have no interest in ever going back. ---

Also, their kitchens are immaculate. It’s what makes the boycott so hard. ---

I find their sandwiches too greasy. The local one does donate sandwiches to band events, which is nice of them, and I do not turn away free food. Popeye’s sandwiches on the other hand… ---

I not only attended masses at weddings and funerals in Catholic churches, I was actually married in one. I was raised Catholic and the only reason I had a Catholic wedding was to make my grandmother happy (we also never let her know that we had been living together for years before that). We used to joke that it was surprising the church wasn’t struck by lightning every time I stepped in.
