True, but nothing from the Hubble is classified. Nor any other NASA mission: They might launch DOD or CIA payloads sometimes, but those missions aren’t operated by NASA in any way other than launching them into the specified orbit. ---

Regarding that photo of the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro seeming to hold up the full moon, I found that it was taken by a Brazilian photographer named Leonardo Sens, who spent several years trying to achieve it. Their website includes a [short MP4](https://mooncross.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/LunarCrossDeployment.mp4) of a cross unfolding from a lander on the surface, so I don’t _think_ they expect it to be visible from Earth. ---
