He was looking to see if the big pile of fireworks cleverly piled by the van was on fire (it was), presumably with the intent of possibly putting it out. Absolutely no reason to think he purposely blew up his (or his friend’s) minivan. ---

I have an issue with Wyoming as the site. Wind. It’s windy as hell in Wyoming (meteorologically, this is because Nebraska sucks and Utah blows, but I digress). Hell on the marksmanship, and _we want_ these guys to hit what they’re aiming for. How about Cliven Bundy’s Nevada ranch ? ---

I have a scambait ID, name is Joe Kole. I’m careful to not tie it to any of my real info. Over 10 years ago though, I got a call at my then-workplace where they were asking for Joe Kole. Freaked me the fuck out. I always used the mailing address of a McDonald’s in Scottsdale, AZ. Don’t ask me why, it was totally random. I’ve never even been there. (I live in the Seattle area.) ---
