Isn’t there a 2nd amendment right to carry a plastic kitten toy? If not, I guess the guy should have had an assault rifle with a 30 round clip of hollow points. Then the R’s would have hailed him as a hero. ---

To be fair, not a toy, a self defense weapon. Quite popular in my early adulthood and effective in fighting off attackers in several instances I was aware of. ---

I imagine the R’s will soon have legislation outlawing self defense articles like this, especially for women. Maybe make them get their husband’s permission before they’re allowed to buy them. ---

May I suggest something safe? Maybe open carrying a AR platform with at least one 50 round drum magazine and a spare?
