Hohenzollern Is a name that derived from [Hohenzollern Castle](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hohenzollern_Castle) atop Mount Hohenzollern (where the family comes from). Mount Hohenzollern Is located in [Zollernalbkreis](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zollernalbkreis). Zollern does mean “toll” from what I can tell, though of course meanings can depend on context. For example, “fly fishing” generally does not involve extending a fishing rod from the fly of your pants. My German is really bad and I’m only relying on a very shallow internet search. ---

The police also never releases mug shots like in the USA. ETA: and I can confirm the MSN story, I’ve read or heard about the case in several renowned German news outlets. ---

You’d think someone his age would be more of a Kermit or Miss Piggy fan. Elmo didn’t even exist when he was growing up. He obviously likes his Muppets young.
