When you legally change your name for reasons of personal preference, you have to attest that you’re not doing so to defraud anyone, and the notice is published for some number of days so people can pursue debts, etc. (At least, this was the case when I changed mine.) ---

A lady was being nice and giving them a misdelivered package like a good person would, and was nearly murdered. Dad/grandfather should be given 20 years, no chance of parole, in the worst prison Florida has to offer. (Which at his age should be a life sentence.) Son/grandson should be given a psychiatric evaluation and made ward of the state, and placed somewhere he can get help, if it’s at all possible. But hey, maybe they solved the mystery of why all those postal workers have been vanishing in the area. ---

Someone ELSE brought the parcel by. The woman just happened to be parked at the corner. I guess the lesson learned is that if you’re correcting a misdelivered package, ring the doorbell and tell the person what you’ve done (although that might have merely changed who the assault victim was). ---
