We all used to say that the first thing that will actually unify humanity would be an invasion by aliens. Suddenly we’d all be “Us”, and only the aliens would be “Them”. Welp, we wuz wrong. We’re having our alien invasion right now and about 1/3 of humanity and about 50% of America are happily knowingly siding with the aliens. ---
