We’ve had almost too many stupid pandemic MFers in the news to count, but Dr. William Makis deserves a shout-out for the latest idiocy. Earlier this year there was a disturbance in the antivax Force involving a flurry of attention to the “sudden unexplained” deaths of Three Young Canadian Doctors in a week, purportedly due to Covid-19 vaccination. It mattered not at all to these shit-for-brains that all of these docs had pre-existing serious chronic illnesses (in one case, advanced cancer) and that two of them were actually elderly. Since jackass memes never die in Antivax-World, the latest wrinkle (thanks to Makis) is that no fewer than _80_ Young Canadian Doctors who were vaccinated against Covid-19 have died during the pandemic. As you may notice from one of the [Substack Shitheads](https://chaosnavigator.substack.com/p/80-young-canadian-doctors-died-suddenly) flogging this story, an unusual definition of “young” once again applies. Beyond that, alert readers (in short supply on Substack) will notice that while [the chronicle of deaths](https://live2fightanotherday.substack.com/p/80-untimely-canadian-doctor-deaths) runs from 2019 to 2022, Covid-19 vaccines did not actually come into use in Canada until December of 2020, so it’s impossible for the vaccines to have caused many of those deaths. One must admire the explanation given by Makis for why middle-aged and elderly practitioners were included in a list of “young” doctors. You see, according to this yahoo, most doctors practice into their 60s and 70s and therefore are “young”. You can’t make up stuff this bull goose loony. Truly, Substack is the definition of a wretched hive of scum and quackery. ---

Came close to shooting himself in the foot. An “accidental” discharge in public should be an automatic revocation of his permit. If he could have that happen from just bending over, the gun was not properly carried/secured. Or he found a cornmaze full of children a perfect place to play with his weapon. ---

True, but if he’s carrying a revolver on his hip in a way where he can accidentally shoot himself in the leg while bending over, he’s doing it wrong. Also, the article says the man claims the safety was engaged anyway. Whether or not he’s telling the truth about that, the handgun did have one and he has no business carrying a firearm since he clearly can’t carry one safely. ---
