November 9th is the most important date in German history with a string of crucial historical events happening on that day in different years. The most important were the November Revolution of 1918 and the proclamation of the first German republic and democracy, then of course the progrom night of 1938 and finally the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. So the KFC automated messaging system probably noticed that November 9th was tagged as memorial day with the tags being “Novemberrevolution”, “Mauerfall” and “Kristallnacht”, and randomly picked the totally wrong event. ---

I can see it as well. However, any sort of automated system like that ought to exclude any memorial days, remembrance days or things like Yom Kippur. ---
