I didn’t read the article but it sounds like an obvious distraction so we (or the RW’s audience) don’t see something else. And I say this because Chick-Fil-A is a pretty right wing business so any RW politicians or RW media are aware that they’re attacking one of their own and must desperately need a smoke screen. Not that it would have been on my radar, but I don’t recall similar outrage when Chipotle brought in Sofritas (tofu) or various frozen pizza companies coming out with almond or cauliflower based crust or Taco Bell with their Beyond Meat. Come to think of it, I do vaguely recall them going after someone for daring to have Beyond Meat on their menu. I can’t remember who it is but I recall a very RW person I know who brought it up, as he “randomly” does with various Fox and Friends topics, that I don’t get why he’s mad about it, no one is forcing him to get it and they didn’t replace any normal menu items with it so he can still get whatever he normally gets. ---

Let’s not fall victim to “people are saying”, here. Sure, there is some number of people who are protesting Chic-Fil-A over their cauliflower, and those people, whoever they are, are idiots, but it’s probably a very small number of insignificant people. ---
