It’s always a bit concerning when public figures call for the death of others, and justify it based on their “Christian” faith. It’s like they are unaware of this Jesus guy and what he said and stood for. This lady is not wired right. ---

A new production of the musical “Parade” just opened on Broadway. It’s the story of Leo Frank, a Jew who in 1913 was charged with raping and murdering a 13 year old girl. Although found guilty at trial, his death sentence was commuted by the governor of Georgia, because he didn’t believe that he was guilty. But a crowd of KKK thugs broke into the jail he was in, and lynched him. This led to an increase in the popularity of the KKK and the founding of the Jewish Anti-Defamation League. All of this leads up to the new show, which had its premiere yesterday, and was picketed by neo-Nazis. ---

We had a similar issue in South Africa, also with Spanish made locomotives. (Apparently the company is German owned) It was mired in corruption from the start. Exactly the same issue arose: the locomotive is too tall. Exactly no one resigned. ---

And 80% of that fine is being charged to the investment adviser company, which is probably a lot bigger chunk of their assets (they are a “non-profit” after all).
